AMY GROVE, M.D., FACOG
Amy E. Grove, M.D., joined our practice after a brilliant academic career and award-winning work as a resident.
Dr. Grove completed her residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Conn., where the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology honored her with the Rebecca K. Lefcourt, M.D. Award for Academic Excellence.
Dr. Grove received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2010, as well as a master of arts degree in medical science in 2005. As an undergraduate at Yale University, she majored in English, earning a bachelor of arts degree with distinction in 2004.
A Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Grove’s professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, female sexual health and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Among her personal pursuits are playing the piano, reading, and skiing. She speaks basic Spanish.
Dr. Grove has considerable teaching experience in anatomy, histology, and the use and care of breast pumps. As well, she has made original medical-research presentations at various hospitals in Connecticut.
Oh, yes. We forgot to mention that during residency, Dr. Grove received the “fancy pants” award for being, well, really smart. She is married with one cute little dog named Sabrina.
