CHRISTINE SKORBERG, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Skorberg is a board-certified OB-GYN and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been in practice more than 25 years. A telling statistic about her excellence is that more than half of local surgical nurses–who know every doctor and see how well they do their jobs–have chosen her as their OB-GYN. She is the leading OB-GYN surgeon in northern Colorado for vaginal hysterectomies, vaginal remediation of prolapsed bladders and bowels, pelvic relaxation of the uterus, and the relief of pain caused by endometriosis and adenomyosis. She has delivered 10,000 babies as well, including three sets of triplets. Most recently, Dr. Skorberg was elected president of the Northern Colorado Independent Practice Association, a physicians’ group dedicated to reducing medical costs, improving care, and advocating for patients. Dr. Skorberg chaired the OB-GYN department at Poudre Valley Hospital for two years.
In 2010, Dr. Skorberg was selected by MTV to be its OB-GYN of choice for a segment on its popular show “16 and Pregnant”, which depicts in real-life the challenges of teenage pregnancy.
Among the non-medical concerns women openly share with Dr. Skorberg is the desire to look and feel younger. In response, she’s added a wide range of aesthetics procedures and products to her practice. Because she is a surgeon, she’s able to provide safer, more aggressive, and more medically correct treatments. That’s why patients enjoy fabulous results.
Dr. Skorberg is married with a daughter proudly serving in the Navy.
