About Dr. Worford
Dr. Worford joined A Woman’s Healing Center in August, 2010. She was raised in Denver and attended Colorado State University here in Fort Collins where she earned a bachelor of science in biology. She received her medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She finished her residency training at Phoenix Integrated Residency in OB/GYN in Phoenix, AZ, where she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Maricopa Medical Center. There she served a diverse patient populace and practiced a range of obstetrics and gynecological procedures.
Dr. Worford is especially interested in breastfeeding and postpartum depression. She, along with her husband, David, and four sons, are very excited to be back home in Fort Collins and participating in a full range of school, sports, and cultural activities. And speaking of family, Dr. Worford was quoted in an August 10, 2012 New York Times article about parenting.
Although she has moved to a position at Colorado State University, Dr. Worford continues to take call for us on nights and weekends.
