About Dr. Elliott
Dr. Sarah Elliott grew up along the West Coast, living in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Tucson. She joined our practice in the summer of 2018, after completing her award-winning academic career in the Northeast.
Dr. Elliott completed her residency at Stamford Hospital, the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, in Connecticut. She was honored in 2017 with the Morton Schiffer Research Award for her work on minimally invasive surgery at Memorial Sloane Kettering in New York City. She was honored in 2018 with the Frances Browne Award for Excellence in Patient Care. She served on multiple committees concerned with improving the quality of patient care and safety. She is most proud of helping to reduce the primary Cesarean section rate at her home hospital.
Dr. Elliott received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2014. She completed the Urban Service Track with a focus on original research and community service. She received her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a minor in Women’s Studies.
A Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Elliott’s professional focus is in adolescent gynecology, natural/alternative approaches and preventive medicine. She speaks conversational French. Her personal interests include hiking, paddle boarding and riding to the farmer’s market on her bright orange tricycle.
